Titsworth works in tandem with Kimberley Miller, his paralegal, as he has for 15 years. They both describe it as a partnership. Their desks are next to each other in the same office. Their slogan is, “lawyers you can talk to.” Titsworth explains that the philosophy harkens back to their hardworking backgrounds. They witnessed injured people being denied access to the attorney, being handed off to a staff person or an investigator. “If they did get to talk to a lawyer, they didn’t understand a word of what they were saying and they were too intimidated to ask questions,” Miller said.

Titsworth talks with every potential new client. “We tell people the way it is and what they need to do and if they decide they need a lawyer, we’re able to help them. But some of these people, if they were told one or two things, wouldn’t have to pay a lawyer,” Titsworth said, “I imagine someone explaining a case to my dad or one of my brothers or sisters. What would it take for them to understand their circumstances?”
